RETURNS
Tarakona strives to ensure that all goods are supplied to our customers in perfect condition and that every possible precaution is taken to protect the integrity of the product that is sold.
If you are unhappy with your unused purchase, please notify us within 7 days of receipt of your order.
For New Zealand customers, you are to return it within 14 days along with your receipt for an exchange or refund, by the original method of payment.
For International returns,
To this end, it is our policy that we do not exchange or refund all perishable items, including all packaged tea and tea leaves.
You have the right to return any tea accessory that does not suit you within 14 days after receipt of the order. We will only accept returns of tea accessories in their original condition and packaging and accompanied by the invoice.
Customers are responsible for the delivery cost of any items they wish to return. These items must be returned unused, in their original packaging and condition, and must be complete.
We prefer that items are returned to us via UPS, DHL or FedEx to ensure that they are protected and insured during transit.
However, you may return the goods by any secure means.
Please note that we will not accept liability for goods that are not returned via UPS, DHL or FedEx.
When returns are properly completed, we shall reimburse the price of the returned merchandise and the invoiced delivery charges within a maximum of 30 days upon receipt of the returned merchandise. The return postage will be at your charge.
Items Damaged in Transit
It is your responsibility to verify the quantity and condition of the merchandise upon delivery. In case you observe damaged or missing items, you must inform us within 7 days after the delivery and file a claim with the carrier. We shall in such case provide you with identical replacement merchandise, provided you return the damaged item(s) to us within 14 days of taking delivery.
Incorrect Items
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on our website. However, as computer and mobile phone screens vary, we cannot guarantee that your screen's display of any colour will be completely identical to our products. If we have sent you an incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible or within 14 days and return the incorrect item to us and specify the correct details in writing. If you would like us to replace the incorrect item with the item you ordered we will send you the correct item as soon as possible or alternatively we will refund the item once it has been returned. We will not charge you for the incorrect item and we must have the incorrect item returned before investigating.
NEW ZEALAND RETURNS
All local deliveries will be by tracked courier service.
We will email you once we have received your return. If there are any issues concerning your return, we will contact you.
INTERNATIONAL RETURNS
Tarakona does not offer free returns on international deliveries. You will need to inform us if you wish to return your goods.
We strongly recommend that you use registered post, recorded delivery or another secure method of delivery, retaining the receipt until you have received credit for your return. We regret that we cannot be held responsible for returned goods that weren't delivered.
We will email you once we have received your return, If there are any issues concerning your return, we will contact you.
Once your return has been processed, a refund can take up to 14 days. You will be refunded the same amount that you paid at time of purchase, even if exchange rates have altered since you placed your order.
International gift recipients may return merchandise received as gifts. Please note: when returning a gift, the refund amount will be credited back to the original purchaser of the items, not the recipient.
